Preschool in the Parks - Register Now!

Fall 2023 Preschool Registration has begun! Eagan Parks & Recreation started accepting registration for the 2023-2024 school year beginning February 1, 2023.  Registration will continue throughout the school year on a space available basis. Preschool classes begin the week of September 11, and an Orientation will be held on the mornings of September 6, 7, 8 (depending on class date) for all registered participants. Welcome to Preschool

Eagan Parks & Recreation Department welcomes you and your preschooler to a quality preschool program. Our Preschool Program’s focus is on the social development of children ages one through five years old. Participants will benefit by developing their social skills and executive function through play, art projects, stories, songs, and outside play. Play is how children learn and practice navigating the world around them! Through play they will work in groups, negotiate and resolve conflict, develop dexterity, self-help and sharing skills and learn to follow directions from teachers. Learning and play will also take place outside while exploring the Parks, in our classes “The most engaging experiences rarely come home in a backpack.”
