Look for sensory icons in our event catalogues to note when an event or activity has sensory inclusive options available for participants.

Sensory Bags

For individuals that need a few extra tools to help make the most of their time at events, the City of Eagan will have sensory bags available to check out free of charge. Sensory bags are equipped with various fidgets, noise cancelling earmuffs, sunglasses, and other tools. You can pick up a sensory bag at the event welcome tent when you arrive and return it upon leaving.

Sensory Quiet Space

The City of Eagan will provide a Sensory Quiet Space at select events for individuals to take a break when needed. Inside the Sensory Quiet Space, you’ll find beanbag chairs, blankets, fidgets, and other tools. Visit the event welcome table for Sensory Quiet Space location.

Community Events - Sensory bags will be available at the following events. 

Eagan Market Fest at Eagan Festival Grounds (1501 Central Pkwy)
Wednesdays, June - August from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m.

Indoor Market at Eagan Community Center (1501 Central Pkwy)
Wednesdays, February 21, March 20 and April 12 from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. 

Parks & Recreation Summer Kick Off at Rahn Park (4425 Sandstone Drive) 
Saturday, April 20 from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. 

Holz Farm Spring Festival at Historic Holz Farm (4665 Manor Drive)
Sunday, May 19 from 11:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. 
Tickets required for individuals 12 months and older available at discovereagan.com or onsite. Cost is $3/person.

Big Rig Rally at Central Maintenance Facility (3501 Coachman Point) 
Thursday, May 23 from 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.

Flexible Fee Options

If you’re an Eagan resident and need assistance with Eagan Parks & Recreation activity fees, our flexible fees program can help cover costs. Residents can complete the Income Verification form available through our office. Questions? Please call Eagan Parks & Recreation at (651) 675-5500.

We accept donations for the flexible fee program from businesses and individuals. Just select the “Donate Now” button on the registration page or call Parks & Recreation at (651) 675-5500.

Equal Access Policy
