Get noticed, bond with your team, or simply show you care about your community by adopting a street. When you commit to clean a section of roadway, your name or your organization’s name goes on an adopt-a-street sign in Eagan.
This program encourages community organizations, neighborhoods, families, business groups, and individuals to take an active role in keeping our streets free of litter.
Groups and businesses that have adopted a street are encouraged to schedule clean-up events at least twice each year. Reach out when you do, and the City will provide trash bags and safety vests for your events.
“The support of our Adopt A Street volunteers allows our staff to focus on other critical projects in Eagan,” says Public Works Director Russ Matthys. He encourages people to show they care for their community and the environment by adopting a street. Want to learn more? Visit cityofeagan.com/adopt-a-street for our latest map of adoptable segments.
