The Finance Department; provides the following services for the City:

• Provides for the fiscal management and processing of all accounting transactions for all funds of the City
• Prepares periodic and annual financial and budget reports
• Manages the collection of revenues and investment of idle funds
• Assists in the issuance of bonds or other indebtedness of the City
• Pays bills incurred for City purchases of products and services
• Processes payroll for all City employees
• Manages billing and collection of public utilities provided to residents and businesses
• Works with Dakota County to maintain special assessment records
